The Capital Region Farmers Market is looking to add new producers to its line-up.
Market manager Sarah Power said some farmers were retiring so new spaces had opened up for new "genuine" Canberra region producers.
The markets have 4000 to 7000 customers at EPIC every Saturday.
"Applicants will need to offer fresh grown, farmed or raised produce, and we're putting the call out to anyone in the Canberra region and surrounds including Goulburn, Yass Valley, Riverina, Southern Tablelands, South Coast, Sydney and the Snowies," Sarah said.
"Specifically, we're looking for producers who may specialise in poultry (including chicken, duck and turkey), goat and game meat, nuts, fruits such as avocado, kiwi fruit, blueberries, all citrus and stone fruit, micro greens, vegetables such as asparagus and specialty varieties.
"We'll also be taking expressions of interest from any genuine producers to make up a waitlist of potential stallholders for our produce that is already well-represented at the market."
Those interested should review the stallholder profiles and market rules via www.capitalregionfarmersmarket.com.au and then contact Sarah Power on 0400 852 227 or market.manager@crfm.com.au
