The only place outside the United Kingdom that Queen Elizabeth II has called home is up for sale.
Real estate agents in Malta have put Villa Guardamangia, on the outskirts of the capital Valletta, on the market for about $10 million.
As Princess Elizabeth, she lived there between 1949 and 1951 in the first years of her marriage to the Duke of Edinburgh.
The property has since fallen into disrepair.
It was listed by Frank Salt real estate agency as "an amazing grand Palazzo-style property … with documented great historical value", the BBC reported.
It said the 1,560 square-metre property boasted "many authentic architectural features", "various guest/servant quarters" and high ceilings and stables.
"The property is just crying out for a great conversion and will make a superb residence or possibly a commercial venue."
The residence was built in 1900 and was leased to Louis Mountbatten — Prince Philip's uncle — in 1929, who then passed it on to the Royal couple.
The Queen is known to cherish the time they spent in Malta, out of Britain and out of the spotlight in the years before she inherited the throne.
The villa is now privately owned and has been at the centre of a dispute in Malta, amid calls to restore it to its former glory.
