Dogs Trust Dublin, based in Finglas, has dozens of dogs waiting on their forever home.
Trixie is a beautiful crossbreed aged around 5-7 years.
She is searching for a family that would have a keen interest in training her.
Trixie loves playing ball, so would need a secure garden so she could play with her favourite people.
Dogs Trust said that Trixie has some special requirements for her forever home.
Her adoption notice says: "Trixie would love an adult only home in a rural area.
"She is very nervous of traffic and seeing other dogs outside of the house.
"Her new family would need to meet her a few times here in the centre to get to know her."
This is Pluto, a very handsome pit bull who despite being 8+ years old, "still thinks he is a big puppy."
This gorgeous pooch adores playing ball and having cuddles. He's a very clever dog who learns new tricks quickly.
Pluto's adoption notice says: "Pluto would need a quiet, adult only home with experienced owners who will be able to continue his training at home and help to build his confidence.
"He is nervous of new people but quickly forms bonds and then he becomes your shadow.
"He is best suited to a home where he will be the only dog so it can be all about Pluto."
