Chelsea supporters have been reacting to Diego Costa sending his former club a message of support ahead of the Champions League final.
The Blues take on Manchester City this evening (Saturday) as Thomas Tuchel looks for his first piece of silverware at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel will be desperate to go one better than last season, with the German coach guiding Paris Saint-Germain to the final, but they were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich.
However, it won't be easy, with perhaps the best team in the country in Man City in the way of a second Champions League crown for the west London club.
Costa, a former fan favourite at Chelsea, has sent a classy message of support, where he filmed himself in a Blues shirt cheering his old club on as they prepare for tonight's huge clash.
Chelsea supporters have taken to Twitter to share their delight that Costa posted the video.
The Spanish striker had a fantastic record for Chelsea - scoring 52 goals in 89 Premier League appearances during his time in England, but his relationship with former manager Antonio Conte was seemingly the reason he decided to leave the club.
Speaking in 2018, Costa told Marca: “I was wrong going to Chelsea because of their way of dealing with things.
“It was a very bad moment, but it wasn’t my fault.
“People said things, but time puts everything in its place. Look where the coach is now, look at Conte.
“(Diego) Simeone is a direct coach, and when he doesn’t love you, it’s clear and he facilitates it.
“At Chelsea it was the opposite.
“I left Chelsea at the right time. I won two Premier League titles.
“I already told him (Simeone) that he had to sign me to start winning things.
“He knows that I love him, and the group… almost all of them were still there when I returned.
“When I left, I was leaving some colleagues I’d known since I was ten – it was really hard.”
