Betting on the Super Bowl is, of course, big-time business and it’s not just about the game. Proposition bets, in which bettors decide to speculate on outcomes that have nothing to do with the play on the field, have become wildly popular. People will bet on anything and bookmakers know this. So, hence, novelty guess bets. Here’s what’s being offered this year, per SportsBettingDime.com and other sites as listed.
Length of the National Anthem

Demi Lovato, who’s performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at sporting events before, most recently at the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight in 2017, well belting out another rendition at the Super Bowl. The question is, how long will she sing? Her average is one minute and 57 seconds.
Odds Jennifer Lopez Shows Butt Cleavage During SB Show

Yeah, you read that correctly. Current odds, per BetOnline, are -1000 (bet $1,000 to win $100) that J-Lo doesn’t show a bit of her derriere and it’s +500 that she does. In light of the Janet Jackson-Justin Timberlake wardrobe malfunction/controversy at the Super Bowl back in 2004, it’s probably a safe bet that Lopez keeps it clean. Then again, she did star in Hustlers this past year.
Color of Gatorade dumped on Super Bowl-winning coach

Always a prop fave, here are the current odds. Also always seems this would be an easy one for friends and family of employees from either team to know how this might go. Insider Gator-ading, if you will.
Trumpian odds

Bovada is offering -850 odds that President Donald Trump won’t be in attendance at Super Bowl LVI. The sportsbook has listed 13.5 as the total on tweets from Trump during Super Bowl Sunday. The President tweeted just three times on the day of the game last year,
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira songs

“Let’s Get Loud” by J-Lo comes in as +400 favorite to open Super Bowl 54 in Miami. BetOnline is offering +250 odds that Shakira’s first song will be “Whenever, Wherever” What will be the last song of the Super Bowl halftime show? J-Lo’s “Live It Up” is the +200 favorite.
Odds Colin Kaepernick’s name is mentioned during Super Bowl broadcast

Kaepernick led the Niners to their last Super Bowl, a loss to the Baltimore Ravens in 2013. In September 2016, Kaepernick took a knee as the national anthem played, protesting police brutality and racial inequality in the United States. He has since essentially been persona non grata in the NFL, so the odds are sadly strong the broadcasting crew won’t even mention the controversial QB.
Odds on the opening coin toss

Another popular one with bettors because it’s as true as 50-50 percent odds as you can get. Most sites will rightly call it pick ’em. Tails is beating heads all-time, 28-25, and it’s been tails in five of the last six Super Bowls.
Odds on the first penalty flag thrown

For what it’s worth, the Chiefs’ offense was called for 107 penalties during the regular season (18th) while the 49ers’ offense had 105 (20th). On defense, the Chiefs and Niners each had 116 (tied for 7th most).
Per NFL Penalty Tracker, in their two playoff games, the Chiefs have totaled 13 penalties to the Niners’ seven.
Whether the Super Bowl MVP will thank God, his teammates, or his family first

Lord only knows. Best of luck. Maybe you should tweet former NFL receiver Chad Johnson, pictured above, for advice.
For good measure, Sportsbetting.ag, is offering this: Will a “John 3:16” banner/sign be shown? Godspeed guessing this but the current odds are: No (-500) and Yes (+300)
