Wangaratta hosts more than 300 international and local acts for this year’s jazz and blues festival. Founded in the 90s, the festival will see American trumpeter and composer Dave Douglas; Canadian saxophonist Jane Bunnett and American blues and boogie rock band, Canned Heat, take to the stage this year. Local acts include James Morrison, Joe Camilleri and Thirsty Merc, among others.

The Wangaratta area is known for its locally grown produce and surrounding vineyards. One of the town’s main streets will be closed off for the festival, to open a food and wine market with a jazz stage.
