A United States Postal Service worker found a toddler wandering Monday in South Shore.

The mail carrier, a 31-year-old woman, found the boy alone on the street about 2:10 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Clyde Avenue, a Chicago police source said. He was reportedly found only wearing a diaper and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.

No one is in custody, police said.

The Department of Children and Family Services was notified, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
