The latest episode of WandaVision was so huge that viewers are urging fans to stay off the internet to avoid spoilers.
Disney+’s first Marvel show released its fifth episode on Friday (5 February) and, due to a huge twist at the end, it’s the most revelatory one yet.
Within an hour of the episode being added to the streaming service, a name associated with the plot twist began trending on Twitter, leading to outrage from fans who were yet to watch it.
“This is your warning. Stay off Twitter until you’ve seen the new episode of #WandaVision,” one Twitter user stated.
Others instructed people to offer spoiler warnings before sharing any details about the episode.

The closing moments of episode five sees Wanda Maximoff (Elisabeth Olsen) “recast” her dead brother Pietro AKA Quicksilver, who was played in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Here, though, he’s played by Evan Peters, who played the same character in the X-Men franchise.

It’s the second time that an actor from a non-MCU film has shown up as their character – JK Simmons reprised the role of J Jonah Jameson at the end of Spider-Man: Far from Home, having played him in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire.
Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are also both set to return in the forthcoming Spider-Man 3, despite previously appearing in non-MCU Spider-Man films.
Peters’ appearance in WandaVision had been teased for some time, following reports that the actor had been spotted on set. Weeks ago, the actor who voices the character in the Spanish dub of the series also revealed he had reprised the role for a future episode.
Still, the actor’s appearance has come as a shock to many, prompting those who have seen the episode to urge others to stay away from social media until they see it, too.
WandaVision continues every Friday for the next four weeks on Disney+.
