Wanda Nara's statement on Mauro Icardi after revealing they've signed divorce papers

The remarkable Wanda Nara- Mauro Icardi saga has taken another twist after she posted a stunning statement that revealed the couple had signed divorce papers.

The duo’s marriage appeared to be at an end last week after Nara made the explosive allegation that the Paris Saint-Germain striker had been cheating on her.

Nara replied to an Instagram story he uploaded by writing: “Another family you have ruined for a s***” before unfollowing him on social media.

Icardi then uploaded another post of her to celebrate Mothers’ Day in Argentina, though she responded with a picture of a ringless finger with the caption: “I prefer my hand without a ring on it.”

The PSG star was then allowed to take time away from training in a bid to save his marriage, as he reportedly flew to Milan to reunite with Nara.

The Argentina international also posted a grovelling message on Instagram, which appeared to have solved the differences between them.

It appears that things got much worse before that reconciliation though, with Nara now revealing that the couple got as far as signing divorce papers.

But in typically sensational fashion, just days after making the divorce final, the couple have now reconciled.

Complicating matters is the fact that Nara is also Icardi’s agent, with the striker currently being linked with a departure from the French capital.

Icardi can calm down now though, with the couple having seemingly put aside their differences to get back together.

“The photos that I have been uploading in recent months show how good we were and how happy we were,” Nara wrote in a post on Instagram.

“From what happened, I was very hurt. Every day I asked Mauro for a divorce.

“When he realized that there was no going back, he told me that we could not continue like this, that if parting was the only way to end so much pain, then we should do it.

“We went to the lawyer. In two days Mauro accepted all the conditions and we signed the Agreement.

“The next day he wrote me a letter like no one had ever written to me: "I gave you everything and you have everything, I hope you can be happy because that would make me happy."

“And there I realized something: that having everything I have nothing if I am not with him. I am sure that this bad moment that we are going through will strengthen us as a couple and as a family.

“The important thing is that we both had the freedom to put an end to our 8-year history, but with our soul tired of crying, we freely chose each other again. I love you @mauroicardi.”

Icardi was back in France to be an unused substitute for Mauricio Pochettino’s men as they played out a goalless draw with Marseille on Sunday.

That was just the fourth game he has failed to feature in this campaign and he should be available for the visit of Lille on Friday night.
