Wan-Bissaka to Man Utd confirmation date, Chelsea agree deal - Premier League transfer rumours

With teams looking to stock up on fresh talent ahead of the new season, rumours have been pouring in from far and wide.

Many deals are reportedly on the horizon, some less expected than others, and there is still time for this window to become one of the most exciting yet.

Here are the latest Premier League transfer rumours:

Wan-Bissaka deal done

One of the most well known sagas of the transfer window is reaching its conclusion.

The Manchester Evening News report that Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka looks set to complete his long awaited transfer to Man United in a deal worth £50 million.

The Englishman has been linked with the Red Devils since the very start of the window as United seek a new right-back.

Reports from Carrington suggest the deal will confirmed on Friday with Palace pocketing £45million plus £5m in future add-ons for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea agree Kovacic signing

Chelsea have agreed a £40 million deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic on a permanent deal following his loan spell last season, according to The Independent .

Kovacic, who appeared 21 times in the league for Chelsea on loan, will join his former team-mates at Stamford Bridge despite the club currently being in the middle of a two-window transfer ban.

The Blues can recruit the 25-year-old due to the terms of the original loan deal, which states there was an option to sign Kovacic on a permanent basis once his loan had expired.

Liverpool acquire Dutch prodigy

Liverpool have captured their first signing of the summer with the addition of wonderkid Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle.

The Reds have paid £1.3 million for the 17-year-old, beating off competition from German champions Bayern Munich for his signature.

Van den Berg is expected to spend next season with the club’s academy side, showing huge potential at his previous club.

United move for Umtiti

Reports from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim Man United have made contact and are looking to place a bid for Barcelona star Samuel Umtiti.

The centre-back is reportedly unhappy at the Camp Nou and could be on the move.

He missed most of last season with a knee injury - with United looking to capitalise and bring him to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils may also offer Victor Lindelof in a potential swap deal.

City lead race for Maguire

Man City are now again leading the race to sign Leicester defender Harry Maguire, according to reports from the MEN .

City are now in poll position for the Englishman’s signature after rivals United pulled out of the deal following Leicester’s demand of £100 million for it to go through.

Without competition for his signing, the Blues now must decide whether they are willing to pay that much for the 26-year-old.
