In news that’s bound to rile up all the Rick and Chelsea stans out there, it looks like Walton Goggins isn’t planning to address those pesky rumours about a feud with former co-star Aimee Lou Wood any time soon. When pressed about all the online chatter in his latest interview on Friday, he straight up walked out.
The White Lotus and The Righteous Gemstones alum was being interviewed by British newspaper,The Times, when he was asked about Wood multiple times, eventually leading to his publicist abruptly cutting things short.
“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” Goggins said to London-based journalist Ed Potton.
Theories of a clash between Wood and Goggins have been swirling since the finale of the HBO black-comedy mystery series in early April, when fans were quick to point out that they no longer follow each other on Instagram. In the show, the pair played loved-up couple Rick and Chelsea who — SPOILER ALERT — meet a pretty tragic end.

During The Times interview, Goggin’s publicist stated that “we’re not going there, thank you,” after Potton mentioned Woods and the fact that the pair no longer follow each other on Instagram.
Potton wrote that he had shifted the conversation to Goggins’ upcoming flick, The Uninvited, after Goggins’ did not want to comment, though he admitted that he brought up Wood again and mentioned that the pair may have to publicly reunite for a speculated new project.
When Goggins’ British representative suggested that they return back to talking about The Uninvited, Goggins apparently laughed sarcastically and stated that Potton’s comments were “thinly veiled”.
Feud rumours grew after Goggins’ commented support on a Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch that mocked the physical appearance of Wood, although it has not been confirmed that Goggins was aware of Woods’ dislike of the sketch.

“I am not thin skinned,” Woods said in an Instagram Story in response to the skit on April 14.
“I actually love being taken the piss out of when it’s clever and in good spirits. But the joke was about fluoride. I have big gap teeth, not bad teeth. I don’t mind caricature — I understand that’s what SNL is. But the rest of the skit was punching up and I/Chelsea was the only one punched down on.”
“Hahahahahhahaha amazzzingggg,” Goggins commented on SNL’s social media post of the sketch, though it was later deleted.
Goggins is also set to host SNL on May 10.

“There is no conversation to be had about that,” Goggins told Potton.
“Sharing politics on social media…It’s in a vacuum.”
The interview was promptly brought to an end by Goggins’ publicist when Potton pressed about Wood one final time.
“What the fuck, Ed! Come on, buddy. Wow!” Goggins said.
“We’re going to end it there,” Goggins’ publicist said, bringing the interview to an end.
Oh boy…one thing that we’ve learnt this year is that the drama of The White Lotus lingers on, even when the cameras aren’t rolling.
