Walthamstow stabbing: Boy, 14, rushed to hospital after being knifed near primary school in north-east London

A 14-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed near a primary school in north-east London.

Police and paramedics were called at about 4.10pm on Saturday to reports of a stabbing in Walthamstow.

An air ambulance was also scrambled to North Countess Road, a short distance from Roger Ascham Primary School.

They found a boy, believed to be 14, at the scene. He was taken to an east London hospital.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard said his condition was not life-threatening.

A crime scene was put in place and there have been no arrests.

It comes after another 14-year-old boy was stabbed, reportedly in the head, in Gloucester Road in Croydon on Wednesday evening.
