Gremio have confirmed they are yet to receive an offer for Walter Kannemann amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The 28-year-old defender joined the Brazilian club in 2016 and has been linked with a £10.5 million move to the Gunners.
A full international with Argentina, the player’s agent, Martin Wainbuch, has confirmed there has yet to be a firm offer from North London.
"Now there's nothing concrete," said Wainbuch (via Tunapora).
The Gunners are keen to offload German International Shkodran Mustafi after a mixed season at the heart of the defence.
AC Milan are said to be interested in the player, which could facilitate a move for Kannenmann.
The former Atlas defender has a £17million release clause in his contract, with Gremio manager Renato Portaluppi saying that speculation is pointless until a firm offer comes in for the defender.
"Until concrete proposals have been reached, there's no use in coming forward," said the former Brazil international.
"If that happens, well, that's where we stand. If Grêmio loses one or another player, you can be sure that you will get a replacement too."
