Wallabies draw first blood against Ireland in tight Test series opener

The three-match series between the Wallabies and Ireland has got off to a cracking start in Brisbane, with Australia edging a tight, enthralling Test 18-9 in the first of three matches.

Tries to Bernard Foley and David Pocock saw the hosts edge a tense affair in the series opener, with Ireland dominating for large parts of the contest.

It is Ireland's first loss in 12 Tests.
