  • Diagnosed with an aggressive CNS glioma in late 2024
  • Roles across TV: The Walking Dead, Chicago Med, 9‑1‑1; films and commercials

Kelley Mack, beloved by fans for her portrayal of Addy in season nine of The Walking Dead, has died at the age of 33. She passed away peacefully on 2 August in her hometown of Cincinnati after a courageous fight with glioma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the central nervous system. Diagnosed in late 2024, her illness advanced rapidly, and she spent her final months surrounded by the people she loved most.

Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow, Mack carved out a dynamic career that spanned television, film, voice acting and commercial work. Alongside The Walking Dead, she appeared in Chicago Med and 9-1-1, fronted national campaigns for Dr Pepper, Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen and Rakuten, and voiced Gwen Stacy in a Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse promotional campaign. She also served as executive producer on the forthcoming feature film Universal. A gifted storyteller from an early age, she studied cinematography at Chapman University before spending more than a decade honing her craft in Los Angeles.

Remembered for her warmth, creativity and infectious energy, Mack leaves behind her parents, her siblings including actor Parker Mack, and her partner, Logan. A memorial service will be held on 16 August at the Glendale Lyceum in Ohio, with a separate celebration of her life planned in Los Angeles for friends and industry peers.
