Walking Dead's Maggie Grace welcomes first baby with husband Brent Bushnell

The Walking Dead star Maggie Grace has announced she’s welcomed her first child with with husband Brent Bushnell.

The 37-year-old revealed to fans they’d welcomed a baby boy in a very political birth announcement.

The actress told fans the exciting news on her Instagram on Tuesday, alongside a gorgeous golden-hour snap of her kissing her new baby’s head.

The tender moment was captioned: “The BEST mornings!

“The shift to parenthood has been the most profound and beautiful experience of my life,” she went on.

“2020 is a wild time to have a baby.”

She then took the opportunity to urge fans to offer future generations “a better, more compassionate world” by voting for Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris while she had their attention.

“We long to offer him a better, more compassionate world, and we want to equip him to make it better,” she wrote.

“Let’s elect leaders our kids can look up to,” she finished, before tagging former VP Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, as well as #whatimvotingfor #whyivote #yourvotematters and #votebymaskormail.

Maggie announced her pregnancy back in March with an adorable picture that showed her cradling her bump.

In a gushing post, Maggie announced: “In the midst of these uncertain times, we’ve been blessed with a joyful reminder of what’s most important.

“Our first little one will be joining us this summer.

“Sending love to you and your families, may you stay safe and healthy.”

The mum-to-be added several hashtags, including: “isolating but I have company!” referencing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Since finding fame in Lost, Maggie has gone on to star in huge motion pictures like the Taken trilogy, where she played Kim Mills and The Twilight Saga as Irina.
