Walkers bring back iconic crisp flavours from the 90s

Walkers are bringing the iconic 90s Quavers crisp flavours back.

The classic cheesy potato snack will be once again joined by the light and tangy Prawn Cocktail, and sharp and sweet Salt and Vinegar flavours after years of fans demanding their comeback.

The curly, crunchy crisps make their return after a tweet from the brand asked fans which flavour they would like to see back on shelves.

Stacking up a staggering 190,000 votes in just four days and thousands of comments from fans stating their undying love, Walkers eventually decided to reinstate both, after being taken off shops shelves almost a decade ago.

The Prawn Cocktail and Salt and Vinegar flavours will be back in stores from January 15.

Will Robinson at Walkers said: "After being inundated with requests, tweets and petitions over the years, we know just how excited everyone is going to be to try these legendary flavours again.

"Following a challenging 2020, I'm sure we could all benefit from a moment of Quavers floaty light enjoyment, and I'm personally looking forward to snacking like it’s the nineties again!"

The new flavours will be available as a Grab Bag (85p), multipack of six (£1.50) and £1 sharing bags at selected Tesco, Morrisons, Asda and Co-op stores and online as well as independent convenience stores in.
