After resting some key players and giving chances to those in need of minutes this week, Pep Guardiola has an easy choice to make with his Manchester City selection against Wolves.
Guardiola used the dead rubber in Leipzig to leave Joao Cancelo, Rodri and Bernardo Silva, while Gabriel Jesus and Aymeric Laporte were not risked with minor knocks.
The likes of Zack Steffen, Nathan Ake, John Stones and Fernandinho all got minutes, but few of the incoming players impressed and Guardiola wasn't given many selection dilemmas for City's clash with Wolves this weekend. In fact, only injury will likely pose him problems as most of those left out should return, with Phil Foden touch-and-go.
Goalkeeper Steffen was probably one of the better performers in Germany, but he will make way for Ederson with the resumption of the Premier League.
Likewise, Ruben Dias will return to centre-back, and Aymeric Laporte is likely to partner him after returning to training this week. Joao Cancelo is another certain to start, but maybe he will get a chance on his natural right side as Guardiola may show Kyle Walker what he really thinks of his 'unnecessary' red card against Leipzig.
Aleks Zinchenko was solid on Tuesday and set up Riyad Mahrez's goal, so he would hope to stay in place at left-back.
Rodri for Fernandinho is an obvious choice, as is the return of in-form Bernardo Silva. If he's fit, Kevin De Bruyne should start alongside him, with Ilkay Gundogan not doing enough in the week to guarantee a spot.
In attack, Raheem Sterling was bright when he replaced Phil Foden at half time in the Champions League, and should get the chance to continue on the left. Foden is not worth risking if not fully fit.
Gabriel Jesus is a man in form on the right, and he can rotate with Mahrez between the wing and false nine positions.
Predicted Man City XI vs Wolves : Ederson; Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko; Rodri, Bernardo De Bruyne; Jesus, Mahrez, Sterling.
