A man has died after he collapsed while climbing a mountain in Snowdonia in North Wales.
Fellow mountaineers tried to resuscitate the experienced walker as rescuers rushed to Aran Benllyn just before 10am on Saturday, WalesOnline reports.
Despite their efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Coastguard helicopter was also sent to the mountain range along with the Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team, but the aircraft was unable to reach the man due to low cloud cover.
As the rescue team arrived at the foot of the hill, a paramedic was lowered below the cloud base and had to walk to the scene on foot.

Members of the Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team were told the walker was part of a well-equipped and experienced mountaineering club.
A spokesman for the rescue team said: "Due to the remote location and potential severity of the incident, the assistance of Coastguard helicopter Rescue936 was requested, and although being first in the area, the helicopter was unable to reach the casualty site due to low cloud cover.
"As rescue ream members started arriving at the foot of the hill, the winchman paramedic was dropped below the cloud base to make his way to the casualty on foot."
A stretcher and medical supplies were flown to the scene.
The rescue team spokesman said: "Despite immediate, prolonged and high-quality CPR performed by group members, and further interventions once the paramedic was on scene, the man remained unresponsive throughout and was declared deceased at the scene."
The man and his fellow walkers were flown from the scene.
