Walk The Line: Covid hits Maya Jama's new talent show

Maya Jama's new TV talent show, Walk The Line, could be at risk of cancellation as one of the judges had to be cut from tonight's (Wednesday) show due to Coronavirus.

Singer, TV personality and judge, Alesha Dixon, has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive,, so as a precaution she's been cut from the live show - instead appearing via video link from her home.

Ever one to make light of a situation, Bristol's favourite presenter Maya Jama quizzed Alesha on her choice of work-from-home attire, asking "What have you got on your feet?"

Alesha quipped back, "Slippers!", showing a fluffy pair to the camera.

Users have taken to Twitter to question whether the last-minute decision to have Alesha Dixon judging from home is quality TV, with some stating a stand-in judge should be at hand.

Ryan Glendenning tweeted, "Why is Alesha judging from home? Shouldn't they have a stand-in judge for her?"

Tonight's show sees Bristol singer, Ella Rothwell, up against four acts for a quarter of a million pounds, as they attempt to knock her out the competition.
