Have you been part of a community group or are a property developer or construction company which has completed a property project for the benefit solely of the group and/or the community?
If so, you may be eligible to enter it into the WalesOnline Community Property Project of the year, sponsored by LTC Mobility.
This category is part of the WalesOnline Property Awards 2019; the awards aim to find the best property renovation project, room makeover, garden, community property project and show home in Wales.

Eligible projects for community award
Any community building that has been updated, renovated, re-purposed or saved from dereliction for the benefit of the community, either by a community group, private individual or company.
Any property project that is innovative, quirky or re-imagines a space within a building for the benefit of the community.
Any property or space that has been brought back to life, such as an empty home, shop, industrial space for the benefit of the community.
Any property or outdoor space conservation project run by a charity but involving the community.
Any outdoor community space that has been transformed into a community garden, allotment, playground, any community activity.
The funding in part or as a whole can be from private, public or charity grant or donation but the completed project must be for the benefit of the community.
The transformation can be temporary, such as a pop-up shop set up by the community within an empty shop unit, but it must have been operating within some of the time period set out in the rules section below.


Tips to enter
Supply up to 10 clear pictures that show different views of your project by Sunday, September 15 and upload them to the entry form below.
If you have a number of photos of before the community project started then please upload these too, although it’s not compulsory it will definitely help the judges see the transformation.
We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate entries.
You can only enter one community project and it must have occurred in Wales.
Three finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges and put forward for a reader vote from Wednesday, September 18 - 25.
Prize
The winner of the WalesOnline Community Project of the year will receive a £100 John Lewis, perfect to buying those extra finishing touches to your project.

The project entered must have been completed between January 1, 2018 and August 24, 2019.
The project entered must be located within Wales.
The judges will produce a shortlist for each category to go through to reader voting and their decision is final.
