Wales vs England player ratings: Alun Wyn Jones and George North impress in World Cup warm-up win

Wales moved to the top of the world rankings by beating England in Cardiff in their latest World Cup warm-up match.

George North opened the scoring in the first-half with a fine try after some superb play from Northampton Saints fly-half Dan Biggar.

The converted try – as well as a Biggar penalty – saw Wales lead 10-0 at the break.

England replied through two George Ford penalties in the second-half but failed to cross the whitewash and the writing was on the wall when Leigh Halfpenny dispatched a long-range penalty from just inside the England half.

The win was sweet revenge for Wales, who lost the first warm-up match between the two sides 33-19. Here are our player ratings:
