Hallam Amos starts on the wing for Wales against Ireland in the Six Nations opener, with George North picked at outside centre.
Elsewhere, captain Alun Wyn Jones is fit to start in the second row, with Adam Beard chosen to partner him after his return to the squad.
Veteran Dan Lydiate starts in the back row alongside Taulupe Faletau and Justin Tipuric after forcing his way back into the selection mix following two years away.
Ken Owens returns to the side after missing the autumn campaign due to injury and lines up alongside Wyn Jones and Tomas Francis.
Tomos Williams will make his first appearance since last year's tournament after injury and partners Dan Biggar at half-back.
Johnny Williams partners North in the centre, with North winning his 99th Wales cap. Jonathan Davies is not in the squad due to injury.
The back-three comprises of Amos, Louis Rees-Zammit and Leigh Halfpenny.

"We made strides forward through the autumn and we are looking to take that into Sunday and into this tournament.
"The Six Nations is a fantastic tournament and is important for us rugby wise but it is important for so much more this year.
"It is important for communities across the country and we want to play our part and give everyone something to look forward to and to get excited about on the weekend."
Elliot Dee, Rhodri Jones and Leon Brown provide the front-row cover for Wales with Will Rowlands and Josh Navidi completing the forward contingent. Gareth Davies, Callum Sheedy and Nick Tompkins provide the back-line cover.

Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose are named in the centre after last starting a Test match together in the quarter-final of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Hugo Keenan is selected at full-back, with Keith Earls and Six Nations debutant James Lowe named on the wings.
Cian Healy, making his 50th Championship appearance and earning his 105th cap for Ireland, is joined in the front row by Rob Herring and Andrew Porter.
Tadhg Beirne and James Ryan form the lock partnership, while Peter O’Mahony, Josh van der Flier and CJ Stander are named in the back row.
Scrum-half Murray is one of five players from the match day squad who played in Ireland’s last Six Nations victory in Cardiff in 2013 (Murray, Sexton, Healy, O’Mahony and Earls).
