Wales team in bus crash ahead of Women’s Euros match with France

  • The Wales team bus was involved in a collision while travelling to a stadium in St Gallen, Switzerland.
  • No one was injured in the incident, including the players, staff, and the driver of the other vehicle.
  • Wales head coach Rhian Wilkinson and captain Angharad James were not on the bus as they had travelled ahead for a press conference.
  • As a result of the collision, Wales cancelled their scheduled pre-match training session and returned to their team base.
  • Wales are due to play France on Wednesday in their second Euro 2025 match, having lost their opening game to the Netherlands.
