Wales set to start with Lloyd Williams and Dan Biggar against England

Wales' Lloyd Williams and Dan Biggar are set to be handed the keys to the half-back positions for the clash with England this weekend.

Wayne Pivac names his team for their third Autumn Nations Cup clash on Thursday and it appears that Cardiff Blues scrum-half will be trusted with the No.9 jersey against Eddie Jones’ men.

Pivac is also set to resist calls to pick Callum Sheedy after his first start for his country last weekend, with Biggar ready to come back in at fly-half.

Elsewhere, Johnny Williams could be in line to pick up his second cap after his debut, with Nick Tompkins set to partner him with Jonathan Davies out injured.

Liam Williams could also keep the full-back jersey if he overcomes his lip injury, with Josh Adams and Louis Rees-Zammit likely to fill the wing spots.

In the pack, an all-Scarlets front-row of Wyn Jones, Ryan Elias and Samson Lee looks likely, while Jake Ball is set to partner Alun Wyn Jones in the second-row.

The back-row has been an area of concern for Wales given the injuries they were waiting on.

However, it seems likely that Shane Lewis-Hughes, James Botham and Taulupe Faletau will get the nod - baring any last-minute changes - with kicking coach Neil Jenkins saying earlier this week that Josh Navidi and Justin Tipuric would continue to be assessed throughout the week.

Probable Wales team to face England: Liam Williams; Josh Adams, Nick Tompkins, Johnny Williams, Louis Rees-Zammit; Dan Biggar, Lloyd Williams; Wyn Jones, Ryan Elias, Samson Lee, Jake Ball, Alun Wyn Jones, Shane Lewis-Hughes, James Botham, Taulupe Faletau.
