Temperatures plunged across Wales last night, as the coldest night of autumn so far was recorded.
BBC weather presenter Derek Brockway said the temperature in Usk, Monmouthshire was just below 0°C with a slight frost.
He added: "Pembrey on the Carmarthenshire coast has also dropped to 0°C making it the coldest night of the autumn so far, and the coldest night since May 7 at Pembrey when -2°C was recorded."
The Met Office forecast for Wales on Tuesday night says: " Cloud mostly clearing through the evening leading to a chilly night with a touch of frost in places.
"Cloudier in the west with the odd shower particularly near coasts. Minimum temperature 3 °C."

For Wednesday, it says: " Cloudier in the west across Caernarfon and Pembrokeshire with a few showers, elsewhere mostly fine and dry after a chilly start. Maximum temperature 9 °C."
Thursday and Friday will remain cold, but temperatures will rise again on Saturday.
The Met Office forecast for Wales says: " Showers around on Thursday, these most likely across Pembrokeshire. Generally fine and dry Friday after a chilly start with patchy fog and frost. Temperatures recovering Saturday as cloud moves in.."

It comes after the Met Office figures for October showed that it was a "warm and wet month" for the UK.
UK mean temperatures were 1.4°C above the long-term average for October, with it being 11.4°C - 1.6°C above average - in Wales.
It was also a wet month for many, with above average rainfall in all parts of the UK. There was 23% more than average rain in Wales.
The long range UK forecast for November says: "Temperatures will be around or slightly above average however, some brief colder spells are still possible."
There are indications though that it could get colder by the end of the month with wintry showers in northern parts of the UK.
