Wales manager Craig Bellamy targeted by Championship club

  • Championship club Burnley have contacted the Football Association of Wales (FAW) regarding the potential appointment of Craig Bellamy as their new manager.
  • Burnley are actively seeking a successor to Scott Parker, who left the club in April following their relegation from the Premier League.
  • Bellamy, 46, a former Liverpool and Manchester City striker, previously served as assistant manager at Turf Moor under Vincent Kompany.
  • Despite the enquiry, no agreement is currently in place, and Bellamy has two years remaining on his contract as Wales manager.
