Scarlets prop Javan Sebastian has been called up by Scotland for their summer fixtures.
The 26-year-old is one of 17 uncapped players in interim head coach Mike Blair's squad ahead of matches against England A, Romania and Georgia this summer.
The Carmarthen-born tight-head has been ever-present for the Scarlets this season, earning himself a new deal at Parc y Scarlets back in January.
Sebastian, who came through the Scarlets academy and has played all of his rugby with the region barring a short spell with Glasgow Warriors, has previously featured for Wales at U16 and U18 level.
However, he qualifies for Scotland through his father, who was born and raised in Edinburgh.
Speaking about the Scotland squad, Blair - who takes charge while Gregor Townsend is on Lions attack coach duties - said: "We have selected a mix of genuine Test match experience and a number of players who have impressed in the recent past to warrant a place in a squad that will want to continue the positive progress we have built up on and off the pitch in recent months.
"England A, Romania and Georgia will each pose different and tough challenges and we will have to be operating at our best to enjoy success, continuing on from some promising performances during the 2021 Guinness Six Nations.
"With the next Rugby World Cup two years away this period gives us an opportunity to increase our depth in key positions and work with players who can put up their hands for international selection this summer, and beyond."
