Wales legend Scott Quinnell's emotion-charged dressing room speech leaves viewers floored

One thing we do perfectly in Wales is passion.

This week as part of our Throwback Thursday segment, we take a look at Wales legend Scott Quinnell's rousing speech before a rugby game which saw the dressing room reach a spine-tingling boiling point of emotion.

Back in 2015, Sky Sports TV show School Of Hard Knocks returned to Wales. The show aimed to tackle some of society's biggest issues: crime, unemployment and health, through its School of Hard Knocks charity.

It takes individuals affected by these issues and uses rugby to help transform them through camaraderie, discipline and fitness, with Quinnell a major part of the series.

In this edition, a group of individuals from Rumney met up to take part in the programme. Some players knew each other, while some had never met before. Some had played rugby, and some had never touched the egg-shaped ball.

After weeks of team building and rugby training, there is a game against a local team at the culmination of the programme.

Prior to this, British & Irish Lion Quinnell delivered one of the most rousing and passionate speeches you are ever likely to hear.

Watch this before doing the dishes tonight and you'll be running out the front door to find a game of rugby yourself!

The video has been reposted on Twitter this week, with the caption "This is what you call a dressing room speech."

"Scott Quinnell - you are a LEGEND."

It has been retweeted thousands of times and viewed almost 100,000 times in just four days. It is no surprise either, this one gets the juices flowing.

It's worth bearing in mind the video includes a lot of swearing.

Warning: Strong language

The passionate delivery strikes a huge resemblance with Michael Sheen's speech on A League Of Their Own recently, which you can check out below. This one has racked up a whopping 13.3m views.
