Wales Grand Slam star Josh Navidi faces a lay-off after suffering a painful injury in the opening minutes of Cardiff Blues' 41-17 victory over the Scarlets at the Arms Park last night.
After lengthy treatment, Navidi left the field with his left arm in a makeshift sling fashioned out of his jersey.
“I think he dislocated his elbow,” said coach John Mulvihill.
“I have done it before and it’s extremely painful. They got it back in.
“It was a really innocuous incident. He went in for a clean out, one of the boys moved his head and these things happen.”
TV pictures of the injury clearly show Navidi's elbow dislocated.

Navidi will now undergo a scan to discover the extent of the damage and how long he will be out.
Reflecting on his team’s performance, which saw them lead 38-0 at the break, Mulvihill said: “The first half was outstanding.
“It was pretty complete. Some parts of it were just fantastic.”
