While most of us may not be able afford a stay a the grand Waldorf Astoria Hotel, there's nothing stopping us heading there for a scrumptious afternoon tea.
This October the stunning hotel located in Edinburgh's West End is to put a new boozy spin on the traditional tea-related ritual with the addition of delicious cocktails.
For one week only - from October 14-20 - the 5-star hotel will be offering their special "Cocktail Afternoon Tea" experience as part of Edinburgh Cocktail Week.
As well as all your typical indulgences, you will be treated to The Caledonian's signature cocktail - made specially for the event.
Each Afternoon Tea will include: two cocktails, a selection of savoury finger sandwiches, homemade scones, decadent treats and over thirty fine loose leaf teas and herbal infusions to choose from.
There are also gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menus are available on request.
The hotel will also be just a short walk from the "Cocktail Village" in Festival Square, where there will be an incredible cocktail forest with a wigwam, fire pit, forest floor and canopy.
The Cocktail Afternoon Tea will cost £29.50 for Edinburgh Cocktail Week wristband-holders per person (normally £57).
