Waitrose has issued an urgent food safety warning - and recalled all jars of 'Essential' beetroot.
Bosses said a small number of jars of 'Essential Waitrose Pickled Sweet Slice Beetroot' may contain pieces of glass.
The Food Standards Agency (FCA) has advised customers to not eat the product and return it to for a full refund.
The product concerned is the 340g jar, with a best before end date of September 2020.
The FCA said point of sale notices will be displayed in all stores explaining to customers why the product is being recalled.
No other Waitrose products are known to be affected.
