Only one testing site still able to take new patients

After almost two weeks of wait times over four hours and sites at capacity, lines are down at COVID testing centres across the territory.

Meanwhile, priority testing has been extended at Garran for Thursday and Friday.

This comes after Queensland removed the requirement for travellers to complete a PCR test before entering the state. As of January 1 a Rapid Antigen Test will suffice.
