Wagamama, the popular pan-Asian restaurant chain, has confirmed the opening date for its new restaurant in Swansea.
The eatery, the fifth to open in Wales, replaces Frankie & Benny's restaurant at City Gates on the corner of Wind Street and Victoria Road in Swansea city centre.
After months of construction and development works at the premises the firm has now confirmed it will open to the public on Monday, December 6, following two 'preview days' on December 4 and 5.

Back in August we confirmed the new eatery was set to open in Swansea but little was known about what the restaurant would look like or how it would be set up.
Photos shared ahead of the restaurant's opening show the restaurant space with Wagamama's well-known bench and booth-style seating throughout.
The restaurant has been designed with "lighter woods and greys" and floor-to-ceiling windows. It sits 136 people inside while there's space for a further 56 guests outside too.
Regional marketing manager Beth Elston said: "We can't wait to show the locals of Swansea what we are all about with our fresh food and amazing service. The Swansea team have been training and working so hard for opening day so I can't wait for you all to meet them."

Wagamama launched in 1992 in London and quickly became a popular restaurant across the UK. It specialises in Japanese and pan-Asian cuisine with a menu full of "fresh, nourishing flavours of Asia," including items like ramen, donburi, teppanyaki, curry and kokoro bowls.
