Concerns are growing for the safety of a vulnerable woman missing from her home in Ayr.
Kiranjit Kaur was last seen at her home address in the town's Overmills Road at around 5.30pm last night.
She left the address and made her way towards the River Ayr walkway, but has since failed to return.
The 26-year-old, who takes medication, has been dealing with personal issues recently.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper and jogging bottoms with a blue t-shirt.

Officers are now urging anyone with information regarding Kiranjit's whereabouts to come forward.

"Kiranjit takes regular medication and has been going through some personal issues lately so we are keen to find her and ensure that she is safe.
"It is possible that she has travelled therefore we are working with transport companies in our efforts to trace her, we would encourage anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.
"I would ask that members of the public contact us if they see or have seen her or know where she might be so that we can find her and support her."
