A vulnerable Glasgow man who's been missing since Wednesday could be in Dreghorn.

The 41-year-old, who is known as Jojo, was last seen in Glasgow city centre at around 2pm on Wednesday, May 29.

Since then officers have confirmed sightings of him in Dreghorn, North Ayrshire on Thursday evening.

Inspector Christine Boyd  said:“Joseph is a vulnerable man who takes regular medication and therefore as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for him.

“Although he had been staying in Glasgow, his family and friends live in Dreghorn and we believe this is why he has travelled there.

"However, we have been in touch with those who know him and nobody has heard from him.

“Officers have also been checking CCTV and working with transport companies in an effort to trace him and make sure he is safe and well.

“We are appealing for anyone who has seen him to get in touch with us.

"He may appear or become confused and therefore we would ask members of the public to not approach him and to contact Police via 101.”

Joseph, known as Jojo, has been spotted on CCTV (Police Scotland)

Joseph is described as six feet one with short brown hair and fit and healthy.

He is believed to be wearing blue and navy blue coloured Nike Air Max trainers and a black and grey coloured hooded top.

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 1996.
