Vulnerable man missing from Glasgow Royal Infirmary as police 'increasingly concerned'

Police are searching for a vulnerable and possibly confused man last seen at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow.

Robert Lynch, 66, has been reported missing from the city centre and was last seen at the hospital at 4pm today (Monday, May 9).

Inspector Jordan Dickson, of Police Scotland’s Greater Glasgow Division, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Robert, along with his family and friends.

"He is very vulnerable and may appear to be confused.

“He is described as being about 5ft8in tall and when last seen he was wearing blue trousers with grey jumper and beige shoes.

“If you have seen Robert or have any information please contact 101 contacting reference 2428 of Monday, 9 May 2022.”

UPDATE: Robert Lynch has been traced safe and well.
