Vulnerable man may have travelled to Leeds

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man who may have travelled to Leeds.

John Rattigan, 73, who was seen on Albany Court in Hartlepool is extremely vulnerable.

He was last seen at 8pm last night - January 23.

He is described as being around 6 ft 1” to 6 ft 4” tall, of proportionate build and has distinctive tattoos on his right hand.

John also wears glasses and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of John Rattigan, 73, who was seen on Albany Court in Hartlepool.

"John is extremely vulnerable and was last seen at 8pm last night. He is described as being around 6 ft 1” to 6 ft 4” tall, of proportionate build and has distinctive tattoos on his right hand.

"John also wears glasses and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and jeans. It is believed he may have travelled to the Leeds area.

"Anyone who may have seen John, or anyone who may know of his current whereabouts, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101."
