Vue has revealed when it is reopening its Gateshead venue as lockdown restrictions ease.
Tickets for film screenings are on sale now ahead of customers returning for the big screen experience from May 17.
It is the first day when the Government’s roadmap allows indoor venues to reopen in England. On the same date, pubs and restaurants can welcome back customers indoors too.
Screenings will include Peter Rabbit 2, The Unholy, The Conjuring Part II and Hey Duggee.
Over the rest of the year and beyond, entertainment fans can look forward to a array of Hollywood blockbusters, with three years' worth of new releases coming to the big screen within the next 18 months.
These include the new James Bond film No Time To Die, which has been delayed on numerous occasions due to the lockdown, and the latest instalment of the long-running Fast & Furious franchise.
Football fans will be delighted that Vue is screening both the Champions League and Europa League finals, while the long-awaited Sir Alex Ferguson documentary, Sir Alex: Never Give In, will also be available from May 17.
