Vote for the best Newcastle night out as we look to crown your favourite

Weekend revellers unite, it's time to pick out your best dress, shine your shoes and get well and truly 'dolled to the nines' for a night on the Toon.

A night out in Newcastle city centre is a ritual which thousands of Geordies participate in every Friday and Saturday, while the big city of the North East also regularly pulls in visitors from much further afield - all wanting to make the most of the 'weekend millionaire' lifestyle as famously seen on the likes of Geordie Shore.

With countless amounts of bars, pubs and clubs across the city, all putting their unique twist on the perfect night out - promising cheap thrills with cheaper drinks - the choice of venue is almost endless for those who visit the Toon for a night out to remember.

But which establishment offers the biggest and best knees up in Newcastle? We're calling upon Chronicle Live readers once again for your recommendations!

The city on the Tyne offers party people anything they could ever want and more for a cracking night on the tiles. For example, the Pitcher and Piano offers civilised cocktails with a view on the Quayside, where the Crown Posada offers the cosiness of a traditional boozer in the heart of the city.

The Bridge Hotel is the place to be for history buffs due to its location within a stones throw of the Castle, while bargain hunters might want to make the most of the cheap and cheerful Wetherspoons such as the Five Swans and the Keel Row.

Games enthusiast can go retro at NQ64, jam packed with arcade machines and old-school consoles, while Cosy Joes has karaoke all night long!

Late night drinkers and dancers meanwhile can get up to all kinds of fun in 'as seen on G-Shore' clubs like Bijoux and Tup Tup Palace, not to mention the mega-clubs like World HQ, Digital and Powerhouse.

We've got a funny feeling we've missed a couple of spots here, so be sure to let us know your favourite bar, pub or club across Newcastle to spend the night, in our interactive poll below.

And as always, we'll see you in a week with the ever-important results!
