After the Seahawks’ 28-23 loss to the Packers in the NFC playoffs last weekend, running back Marshawn Lynch shared advice for young players in his postgame press conference. Video of Lynch’s presser has since gone viral.
“I’ll tell y’all right now while you’re in it, take care of y’all bread so when y’all done you can go ahead and take care of yourself,” Lynch said, via Seahawks Wire. “So while you’re all in take care of your bodies, take care of your chicken, take care of your mentals, because we don’t last that long.”
After the running back’s message went viral, Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller shared a humorous meme of him literally taking care of his chickens.
“Literally 💵🐓🤝 @beastmode,” Miller captioned his post, tagging Lynch.
Miller studied poultry sciences at Texas A&M and he’s now a part-time chicken farmer. He’s even named some of his chickens after teammates.
