Von Miller and Bradley Chubb named NFL’s top pass-rush duo

In one of his recent notebooks for NFL.com, former player and scout Bucky Brooks ranked the top five pass-rushing tandems in the league. Denver Broncos outside linebackers Von Miller and Bradley Chubb were ranked No. 1 on his list.

“Miller is the dynamic speed rusher with cat-like quickness and a dizzying array of rush moves that leave offensive tackles tied in knots,” Brooks wrote alongside his ranking of the pass rushers.

“Chubb is a disruptive power rusher with heavy hands and a non-stop motor. He overwhelms blockers with his brute strength but also displays enough finesse to win consistently on the edges.”

Elsewhere in the AFC West, Los Angeles Chargers edge defenders Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram were ranked No. 3 on the list. Bosa and Ingram combined to record 12.5 sacks in 2018 — Chubb and Miller totaled 26.5 combined sacks.

New Broncos coach Vic Fangio has said he believes Miller could record 20 sacks himself in 2019. That would make a combined 30-sack season between Miller and Chubb feasible.
