A Volvo which ploughed into a pub's beer garden narrowly missing drinkers had been reported as 'driving erratically' before the crash.
Dramatic CCTV footage captured the moment the Volvo estate left the road and smashed into the drinking area at the front of the Hare and Hounds pub in Skelmersdale.
Drinkers were left stunned as the car crashed through planters and a picnic table before coming to a standstill outside the pub.

Fortunately nobody was hurt after the crash which happened at around 11pm on December 27.
Now police have said the same car had been reported to the force earlier that day. A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "The car had been reported for erratic driving earlier in the day, and had been observed by police."
The Volvo was travelling through a 20mph zone in a residential area when it left Ormskirk Road and crashed through a large planter.
The car then hit a large picnic table before it stopped outside the pub.
Last week more video footage emerged showing the aftermath of the crash. Mobile phone footage showed emergency workers at the scene after the crash, with shocked customers looking on.

Andrea Lesbirel, manager of the Hare and Hounds, said staff at the pub would like to know more about how the car managed to leave the road and cause so much damage.
She said: "The driver and front seat passenger both ran off after the crash. I think we would like to know more exactly what caused them to crash.
"Ormskirk Road is a 20mph zone. It's a quiet, residential area.
"It really is fortunate nobody was seriously injured. Obviously the drinking area at the front of the pub is normally a lot more busy."
The crash caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
She said: "There was £2,000 worth of damage because the picnic benches are around £200 to £300 each and the planters were bespoke so they were made for the pub and they were about £500 each. They were really big and obviously we've got to replace the bollards."
The pub managed to re-open as normal last Tuesday after locals worked hard to make the scene safe.
Andrea added: "It didn't effect opening hours, we were able to open next day. It was all cleared up in the morning. The local residents helped us to clear it up."
Police are appealing for information about the crash and are keen to speak to the driver of the Volvo.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We are appealing for information after a road traffic collision at the Hare and Hounds on Ormskirk Road in Skelmersdale.
"It occurred around 11pm on Monday (December 27).
"We are keen to identify the driver of the car."
Anyone with information can call 101 or email 872@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 1424 of December 27.
