Volunteers from a Co Fermanagh animal sanctuary are grouping together to run their own Christmas fair.
On Saturday, December 4, from 11am to 3pm at the Delaney Suite in Mahon's Hotel, Irvinestown, volunteers and trustees who have been part of Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary for years will be hosting a fair to spread some festive joy.
There will be 21 local crafters selling homemade items including candles, Christmas decorations, and much more.
As well as this, tea, coffee, and buns donated by local cafes in Enniskillen will be there for everyone to enjoy.
On the day, there will be a raffle with gifts kindly donated by supporters of the sanctuary and local shops, and Santa will even be stopping by for a picture with the kids – and dogs!
Victoria Ellingsen is a volunteer at Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary who is helping to organise this year's Christmas fair.
She told MyFermanagh: "The event is purely to raise to raise funds for the sanctuary and to give something back to the community and bring some joy before Christmas."
Founded in 1989 by the late Pat Nolan, the aim of Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary is to provide a safe environment for animals who are unwanted or abandoned.
The sanctuary, based in Ballinamallard, provides rehabilitation for animals who have been starved, are malnourished, or otherwise in poor health.
Bright Eyes make sure they can rescue as many animals as possible and give them a second chance of life and a safe place to stay.
