An urgent appeal has been launched for volunteer drivers to help Glasgow's homeless.
The call, which has been put out on social media by Help the Homeless, Glasgow, is seeking Glaswegians who can help transport key workers to and from temporary accommodation services in the city.
Morning, afternoon and evening shifts are available, with offers to step forward considered 'a massive help' amid the coronavirus crisis.
Helen McMillan, who shared the appeal, said: "We are appealing for volunteer drivers on behalf of Aspire.
"The Aspire management team have been working hard to ensure that their staff are being supported as much as possible during these uncertain times and are looking for some volunteer drivers who can assist staff (key workers), who are non-drivers, to give them a lift to and from work across four Aspire Temporary Homeless accommodation services.
"There are three shift patterns within the services, morning, afternoon and evening, if you are available at any of these times, that would be a massive help."
