We're finding it hard to talk at the moment. We're having to talk through masks or at a safe distance. We're talking remotely, from isolation.
That doesn't mean our voices can't be heard. For a start, they're recorded in the Newcastle Herald.
However, the lockdown does mean some things have to be put on hold or delayed.
And so it is with our podcast series, 'Voices of the Hunter with Scott Bevan', which was meant to launch on Friday.
The new series is a platform for voices from all over our community, as three guests talk each week about events and issues shaping our region.
For the first episode, the main topic of conversation was going to be COVID. But then COVID stopped us talking for now.
We looked for ways to record the discussion online. However, we realised that was not as good for a chat, and for our listeners..
So 'Voices of the Hunter with Scott Bevan' is on pause. But not for long. Because the voices of the Hunter have to be heard. We look forward to having that conversation with you soon.
