Given the recent dismal weather the prospect of a holiday by the Med has never looked more enticing.
So many will be pleased the Spanish Government has announced that it will open its borders from Monday to UK tourists.
The problem is the UK Government does not want you to pack your bags.
Spain remains on the amber list of countries which are supposedly off limits for holidaymakers.
Passengers arriving in Britain from these places will have to take two Covid tests and quarantine at home for 10 days.

Many families will judge this is a price worth paying.
Ministers can hardly complain.
They have made a complete pig’s ear of the situation by telling people it is not illegal to visit Spain but then saying they should not travel there.
Sun-starved Britons don’t just want a few rays, they want clarity and consistency.
Battle not over
This week marks the first anniversary of the murder of George Floyd.
His brutal killing sent shockwaves not just across America but around the rest of the world.
In cities from Los Angeles to Melbourne, millions took to the streets to demand an end to the prejudice and discrimination that still plagues too many societies.

Since then there have been some signs of progress in the long fight for racial justice.
But this battle is far from won. In the United States black people continue to be victims of police brutality.
In the United Kingdom black sports stars and celebrities are still being racially abused on social media.
As we remember George Floyd we must continue the crusade for equality and justice.
Top Marcus
Marcus Rashford’s autobiography serialised in the Mirror this week showed he’s as inspirational off the pitch as on it.
In the last year alone he’s helped raise an estimated £20million for good causes.
Along with a golden touch the England star has got a heart of gold.
