Voice of the Mirror: Now is time to get jabs into arms of all who risk lives for jobs

Giving early vaccinations to teachers, police officers and other frontline workers will keep them safe and is right for Britain.

After inoculating our health and care workers plus the oldest and most medically vulnerable people, let’s call up the millions who risk their lives to do essential jobs.

That includes firefighters, shop workers, bus and rail staff, street cleaners, taxi drivers, factory workers, prison officers and everybody else without the option of working from home.

We want schools to reopen as soon as it is safe, and vaccinated teachers are less likely to take sick leave or be forced to self-isolate.

Sort it out, Prime Minister.

Get gone, Don

You are going to need it.

Today's grandparents are proving that old age can be a gold age, rocking out to heavy metal instead of creaking away their twilight years in rocking chairs.

It’s also heartening that so many use social media, unthinkable technology in their youth.

It shows that none of us needs to stick to the script our forefathers followed.
