Vogue Williams opens up about giving birth to her third child after watching The Hunger Games in labour

Vogue Williams has revealed she watched The Hunger Games while in labour with her third baby.

The Dubliner – who is married to Spencer Matthews - opened up on her birthing experience with her newborn son, Otto James, who she welcomed on April 18 at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

She said: “We had a nice time on the gas and air. I watched The Hunger Games. I watched the whole thing. Now, there were a few very intense painful moments during the day. It wasn’t just like sitting watching the Hunger Games all day, there was a job to be done.

“It got quite to an intense stage. I didn’t even remember the doctor being in the room,” she said.

“The process was a bit long, bit arduous,” said Spencer dryly.

Vogue praised the staff at the UK hospital, saying how helpful they were.

“It’s actually quite nice to be in the hospital. They’re like ‘oh would you like anything to eat’. It’s stunning. ‘Do you want some more toast?’ Yes, I do want some more toast while I sit here on my ar*e and then Spenny is literally like ‘I’ve a call at 12:30pm, can we leave here at 11am’ and everyone who came in to check the baby, he was like ‘what time do you think we’ll be done?’

“I was trying to just enjoy myself – you’re not invited next time, if there is a next time,” she quipped to Spencer.

“We all had a great time,” added Spencer.

“Our baby was born with a full head of hair,” Spencer told fans on the couple’s Spencer and Vogue podcast.

Vogue said: “I was quite shocked with the amount of hair he had. A lot of hair. It was a good amount of hair.”

“He looks nothing like me,” said Vogue before adding: “I know he’s mine because he has a huge mouth,” she said jokingly.

But Vogue revealed Otto arrived ten days early and said he’s a “cool baby” and “very sweet”.

“I have to say I’m starting to become quite tired now, this is night three now and they weren’t the best of nights” she admitted.

The couple also share their son Theodore who was born in 2018, and daughter Gigi, who the pair welcomed in 2020.

And Vogue admitted Gigi has been “a bit put out” since the new baby arrived home.

Vogue has since shared an adorable picture of Otto, but one concerned fan has already asked if he is jaundiced.

"Image of Spencer. Is he a little bit jaundiced? Beautiful baby boy [love heart emojis]," the follower wrote, and Vogue was quick to write a response.

"Otto is not jaundiced he's just mad for the new bare by vogue face serum [laughing face emojis]," she jokingly replied to the inquisitive fan on Instagram Stories, referencing her own best selling tanning range.

Announcing Otto’s arrival last month, Vogue and Spencer told Hello! Magazine: "It's always been our intention to have a big family and we are very lucky that we have been able to do that.

"Otto slotted in straight away. The kids love him and we are obsessed with him. Theodore and Gigi love playing with each other and I think that Otto’s going to be another little member of their gang. It's really lovely to see."
