Vogue Williams doing crash course swimming lessons with toddler Theo after 'scary moment around pool'

Vogue Williams has said she has been doing crash course swimming lessons with her toddler Theo after a “scary moment around a pool”.

The new mother-of-two, who welcomed her second baby just three weeks ago, has been sharing snippets of her almost two-year-old son learning to swim all week.

Explaining why she was so eager to have the tot become familiar with the water, she opened up about a recent scare.

The Dubliner, 34, who shares Theo and new daughter Gigi, with Spencer Matthews said: “The week that T fell in love with swimming again!

“I can’t wait until T learns to swim properly.

“We had a bit of a scary moment around a pool not long ago and it’s really made me want him to be water safe as soon as possible.”

“His confidence has grown with every lesson.

“I put him in a crash course and then he will start his regular lessons again come September,” she continued.

“I also have zero tips as how I got him to wear the goggles, we’ve had them floating in the bath for months and he wouldn’t touch them before Monday!”

The radio host’s post comes after she was forced to hit back at mammy shamers on social media that criticised her for dressing up and enjoying lunch dates with her husband this week.

The couple, who welcomed their baby girl named Gigi, at the end of July have been enjoying life as a family of four ever since, with Vogue documenting their daily outings.

But her posts have attracted some judgemental comments with one saying “Don’t you breastfeed your baby?”

Vogue hit back saying: “I do breast feed exclusively not that it’s any of your business.

“The baby was on our lunch date with us… also your choices are not mine.

“If I want to have a date with my husband and no baby I can. The joys of portable breast pumps!” she added.

She went on to say: “Gigi was with us and mothers don’t need to be chained to their houses to be considering a good parent!”
